Welcome to my website!

I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Department of Economics & Business at Southwestern University. I received my Ph.D. in Economics from Georgia State University.

My research interests involve studying the behavioral consequences of policies in the field of labor and health. I use both quasi-experimental designs with secondary data as well as experiments in the laboratory and field to explore policy-relevant questions.

My research agenda has two broad themes: (i) investigating the effect of public policies and business strategies on risky health behaviors and decision-making, and (ii) understanding the sources of discrimination and the effectiveness of diversity-enhancing policies. I use a multitude of methods in my research such various tools of causal inference with observational data as well as laboratory and field experiments.
